During this time we have produced a custom software solution used internally to process our note acquisitions in days, not weeks.
Our unique approach is to partner with brokers and direct customers and assist them with structuring and "pre-processing" work when creating a note. We leverage our use of technology to enable our customers - our partners - to be the solution providers in their markets. The results of these alliances are faster, smoother closings, increased profitability, and repeat business from satisfied buyers and sellers.
Jim has worked in all phases of a large bank, including branch bank management and commercial loan examining. He was a real estate agent and broker for many years before going into the mortgage lending field after the mid 80's oil industry upheaval in the Houston area. He has additional experience as an Engineering Technician inspecting failures in structure and foundations of residental properties, and in surpervision of the repairs by foundation repair companies. Jim joined Scott in the note buying industry in 1993.
Scott got started in the seller-financed note business in 1989 with BCS Capital Corp. while attending Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He insures all files are processed accurately and manages our brokerage and lending operations. Scott enjoys travel, movies, computers, video games, and riding his Bombardier DS650 with friends. At home you'll find him with his wife, Margaret, and their four children, Zachary, Elizabeth, Anna, and Jonas, working in the garden and riding the tractor.
